Lindsey Rothschild
Broker/Owner
Lindsey Rothschild launched River Flows Realty because she saw a gap between what most real estate agents offer and what buyers and sellers in Western Massachusetts actually need: someone who understands the full financial picture of a transaction, knows the local landscape deeply, and stays engaged well past closing day.
Before real estate, Lindsey spent 20 years in education, including work as an ESL instructor and Instructional Designer at Holyoke Community College. That background shaped how she works with clients: methodically, with attention to how people absorb and use information, and with a genuine commitment to making sure nothing important gets missed.
She became a licensed broker in 2018 and founded River Flows Realty in 2024.
What sets her practice apart
Lindsey approaches every transaction as a strategic partner, not a transaction manager. That means helping buyers understand not just what a home costs today, but what it will cost to own, improve, and adapt over time. It means helping sellers think through preparation strategically, including what upgrades or documentation can strengthen a listing before it hits the market.
Practically, that looks like:
Preparing sellers strategically, including energy documentation, pre-listing improvements, and honest pricing conversations
Drawing on a wide network of local contractors, energy assessors, lenders, and community organizations built over years of living and working in the Pioneer Valley
Helping buyers understand every step of the process, from offer to closing, with strong negotiation skills and straightforward advice that puts their interests first
Helping buyers and sellers identify and access MassSave rebates and 0% interest HEAT Loan financing for energy efficiency upgrades
Connecting clients to special state programs for accessibility improvements, deleading, and other financing incentives that most agents never bring up
A Little More About Lindsey
Lindsey is an entrepreneur, problem solver, and community advocate. In addition to River Flows Realty, she founded eResponders, which creates online training for mission-driven organizations and government agencies.
Beyond her professional work, Lindsey is deeply involved in her community. She is a founding board member of the Holyoke Hockey Club, serves on the board of Empty Arms, is a member of Easthampton’s Affordable and Fair Housing Partnership and participates on the Advisory Committee for the Children’s Advocacy Center of Hampshire County.
For Lindsey, real estate is all about empowering people and guiding them through big decisions. She’s here to make the process easier, clearer, and even a little fun. And when she’s not working? You may just find her at the hockey rink – playing, coaching or cheering on her son from the stands.
